The U11s' first ever league game and an amazing debut really – all the goals were a little flukey.
Sale Utd are much better than they used to be, and they get down the wings and cross the ball better now. However we held them and created a few chances of our own (Chantelle unlucky to clobber the ball straight at their goalie). Sukdev saved a few hard shots from Sale and then saw one of her goal kicks well intercepted and put back past her. In the second half we were attacking well but when defenders go up to support attack they must remember to run back quickly when the opposition get the ball. Sale scored twice when clearing the ball from our attacks – their attackers quickly ran forward and outnumbered Sukdev and Angharad who had no chance.
